Lens on Life – Cambodia01

Siem Reap, Cambodia (2009) – For me, in her calm composure, her slight sense of ennui, this server in Siem Reap, Cambodia, could be a sculpture of royalty or a deity in the nearby Angkor temples. I’m quite sure she wasn’t aware I was photographing her, and I doubt the image would be successful if she had been. For what it’s worth, often I’ll show the image to the subject immediately afterward — another fine feature of digital. I’ve never had a hostile reaction to my efforts.
