Lens on Life – Cuba

Havana, Cuba (2006) – Cubans are maybe the most photogenic people on the planet, and the most at ease in front of a camera. I’ve been travelling in that unique country since the “special period” of the early 1990s, following the Soviet collapse — seven or eight journeys in all. This girl in Havana appeared on the back cover of my photo book, “Latin American Portraits” (The Key Publishing, 2008).
