Lens on Life – Mexico

Mulegé, Mexico (2016) – Mexico is my favourite country. I lived and taught there for five years, and I return frequently to travel in its diverse and fascinating regions. The vibrant light there, especially on the Baja peninsula, blends perfectly with the wild colour sense of the population. I saw this combination of surfaces and angles and sunshine in the courtyard of my hotel in Mulegé, Baja California Sur. I let my passion for colour and pattern and texture guide the abstract-feeling composition.
