Mental space: How do I turn off the world? (in New York City)
Set against the vibrant backdrop of a bustling metropolis, let’s explore the psychology of space. Do our minds expand when we’re in green oases in urban environments, and open concept workplaces? Do tall buildings provide enough of an illusion of visual space, to fool us into forgetting what cramped quarters we live in? Could there also be a physiological consequence of being cheek by jowl, hyper-stimulated, and on the go all the time? How do we fix what we can’t quantify?
