The Phylomon Project: Where Pokemon meets Biodiversity

David Ng, Director of the AMBL Teaching Labs at the Michael Smith Laboratories talks about how biodiversity is important in this day and age . As well, he highlights one of his outreach projects: this one recently launched and called the PHYLOMON project (http://phylomon.org). Here, the intent is to use web tools to create a community that will provide open source/open access expertise to make Pokemon-like cards, suitable for collecting and playing.
